Frequently Asked Questions
Does Katie accept insurance?
Katie accepts cash, credit card, or HSA cards for payment.
Currently, Katie is not on any insurance panels, however, if you have out-of-network benefits with your insurance company she is able to provide you with the service receipts for reimbursement.
Just give your insurance company a call to learn more about your out-of-network benefits, and then Katie can work with you to provide the receipts.
What is the session fee?
Katie’s fee is $150 for a 50-minute session. This 50-minute session is standard in the industry as a “therapy hour”; providing 10 minutes of the hour for note-taking and ensuring timeliness for sessions throughout the day.
Will Katie be the right fit for me?
Therapists do not come in a “one size fits all” package. Katie has worked with a wide range of mental health struggles in a variety of populations. Katie offers services to adults, adolescents, parents, couples, and families. If in working with Katie you are not feeling as though it is a good fit, Katie has access to a range of resources to help refer you to another possible match.
How do I make my first appointment?
It’s easy! Contact Katie through the Book Appointment tab at the top of the page and she will reach out to you with availability and get you scheduled through her system on Simple Practice.
What if I don’t live near her office or even in Dallas?
Katie is available for telehealth appointments and can meet with anyone residing in the state of Texas.
